PostScript printers included in this archive. This archive includes
printer drivers for the following Digital printers:

    Colorwriter LSR 2000/2000+
    DEClaser 3500
    DEClaser 5100
    LN17ps
    PrintServer 32 plus
turbo PrintServer 20 (with Level 2 PostScript)

    -----

This kit contains PPD files and an PRINTER.INF file suitable for
installing Postscript Printer drivers on Windows NT 3.51 running on
    Alpha platforms.

    1. Copy all files from this archive onto a blank formatted floppy disk.

    2. In the Main group, double-click Control Panel and double-click Printers.

    3. In the Printer menu, choose Create Printer.

    4. Scroll down the list of drivers and select Other.

    5. In the dialog box, select your diskette drive and then click OK.

    6. In the Select Printer dialog box, select the model of the printer
whose driver you want to install and click OK.

    7. The printer driver and PPD are installed. The installation may require
your Windows NT installation media for a system file required for the
printer driver. Insert the installation media when prompted and click
OK. If you are using a CD-ROM installation disk, the path is usually
       D:\ALPHA where D: is your CD-ROM drive.

The following files are needed for a complete installation on your
       Windows NT system:

	PSCRIPT.DLL
	PSCRPTUI.DLL
	PSCRIPT.HLP

If you know that these files already reside on your hard drive and you
don't have your installation disks handy, you can redirect the search to
your hard disk drive, usually C:\WINNT35\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\

    8. Enter a name for your printer in the Printer Name text box in the Create
       Printer dialog box.

    9. The PostScript Printer Setup dialog box will appear. Choose the
appropriate default media source for your printer and click OK.

   10. The installation will complete and a printer icon or window will
appear with the name of your newly installed printer.

    -----

    Known Problems:

    1. During the driver installation, Windows NT may display a dialog
box that includes the following text: "Please insert the floppy
disk labeled 'Windows NT CD-ROM' into Drive A: and then click OK."

If this occurs, just insert your Windows NT CD-ROM into your
CD-ROM drive as usual, and then click OK. In the next dialog
box, you will need to either type the correct path to the CD-ROM
or click Browse to locate the required files.
