LK450 Keyboard driver installation:

The LK450 keyboard has two operating modes, IBM/PS2 and Digital Extended Mode, these
drivers for have been implemented using IBM/PS2 mode using Industry Scan Set 3. The
LK450 is particularily desirable in a user community that is familiar with Digital's
VT terminals and enjoys the look and feel of Digital's LK keyboards.

For DOS: Recommended only for NON-US LK450 variants, US LK450 variants may
be identified by the label LK450-AA on the underside of the keyboard:

	1) Insert diskette into drive
	   COPY a:\disk1\lk450.sys c:\dos\lk450.sys

	2) Replace KEYB entry in the autoexec.bat file to reflect the following:
	   ...
	   ...
	   KEYB US,,C:\DOS\LK450.SYS
	   ...
For Windows:

From the program manager select the entry
RUN and enter the parameter A:\DISK1\SETUP.EXE

be replaced by the keyboard language selection menu. Select
appropriate language. Use None if using Microsoft Windows In
	   American English.

	3) click on Continue

	4) Select the codepage appropriate to your user environment, consult
the Microsoft DOS users guide for assistance, use 437 if no special
handling is required. Note your DOS session must be using the same
	   codepage that you select here.

	5) click on Continue

	6) If you have any of the applications displayed, then select the
appropriate box. e.g: Reflections 2/4 make sure the reflections
	   box is selected.

	7) Click on continue

	8) If any of the applications have been selected, a dialog box will
prompt you for the correct directory in which to place the
 	   LK450 driver support files.

	9) Read the readme to view the changes from version 1.0

	10) The Windows session will need to be restarted for the new driver to
	   become active.

Installing into a Windows shared environment:

There is no automated provision for installing into a shared environment.
The system administrator must install the files to a stand alone system
and then subsequently copy the following files to the window's system
	shared directory.
	lk450.386
	lk450.drv
	lk450*.dll

and make modifications to the appropriate system.ini client files to
	reflect the following entries

	[boot]
	...

	keyboard.drv=lk450.drv
