The Alerts view shows firmware alerts. It displays under the second tab in the bottom frame of the main display. The Alerts display shows alerts sent by the firmware while the AMU client is running. This display does not show historical information. Alerts are displayed when they are received but they are not saved by AMU. The display is lost when the client window is closed; however, all alerts that indicate an error condition are saved in the MBM error log.

The Alerts view includes the time the alert occurred, its severity, a description of the alert, and the component that is the source to the alert. The source of the alert is hyperlinked to the Properties window of the component where you may find additional information.
For example, if you select Properties from the system drawer link, the System Drawer Properties dialog box is displayed. The Alerts tab window in the Properties dialog box displays alerts specific to this system drawer.
