You can connect to either the SRM console or operating system running on a subpartition using the AMU terminal emulator.
Connecting to the SRM console allows you to manage the firmware of a partition or boot an operating system running on a subpartition. The SRM console is responsible for booting the operating system and passing system configuration data discovered during power-up to it.
Connecting to an operating system running on a subpartition allows you to log in to and manage the operating system.
