When you right-click the Partitions icon, the following menu options appear. Some actions are not active (they are grayed out) unless you have taken exclusive control of the AMU system.

New Hard Partition... |
Invoke the New Hard Partition dialog box for creating a new hard partition. |

Assign To Platform's Free Pool |
This choice is enabled only if at least one CPU in the partitions view is selected. Use this menu choice to move the selected CPU into the platform's free pool. |

Power On OS/SRM All Partitions |
Power on all hard partitions that are powered off. The start level is set to OS/SRM. |
|
Power On XSROM All Partitions |
Power on all hard partitions that are powered off. The start level is set to XSROM. |
|
Power Off All Partitions |
Power off all partitions. |
|
Refresh Partitions |
Refresh the display with new data from the firmware's partition database. |
|
Properties |
Display the Platform Partitions Properties display. |
