When you right-click on a Subpartition icon, the following menu options appear. Some actions are not active (they are grayed out) unless you have taken exclusive control of the AMU system.

Open Telnet |
Open a telnet session using the subpartition's telnet port. See Connecting to a Console for details. |

Halt In |
Halt the subpartition. |

Halt Out |
Bring the subpartition out of the Halt state. |

Delete SubPartition |
This menu item is enabled only if the subpartition is in Not Running state and its hard partition is powered off. Deletes the selected subpartition. The subpartition resources are returned to hard partition’s free subpool. |

Assign to SubPartition |
This menu item is enabled only if the subpartition is in Not Running state and one or more CPUs from the platform's free pool or hard partition's free subpool are selected in the partitions view. Assigns the selected CPU to the subpartition. |

Properties |
Displays the Subpartitions Properties display. |
