Turning All Cable LEDs On or Off

This function tests the LEDs; all IP and I/O cable port LEDs blink until the interval timer elapses.

To perform this task, you must first take exclusive control of AMU, then right-click on the Hardware icon in the left frame of the main display to access the hardware context popup menu.

Choose Turn on All Cable LEDs or Turn Off All Cable LEDs (stops the blinking by dimming the LEDs).

This dialog box appears when you select Turn on All Cable LEDs.

Enter the test interval you want to view. The interval is the number of seconds to keep the LEDs lit. The maximum value is 3600 (1 hour).

The second way is to use either the IP Cables Connections Property dialog box or the I/O Cables Connections property sheet after you have taken exclusive control of AMU.

Click on the appropriate row and select a button to perform the task you want.

A message in the bottom frame of the main display confirms your action.

Be sure to return exclusive control when you finish turning cable LEDs on or off.
