A context menu displays when you right-click on some items in the left frame or on a hardware component in the right frame. The components that have context menus are listed below along with the menu items and a brief description of each.
Note: The Visual Editor item at the top of the tree has no context menu.

New Template |
Create a new template. The New Template dialog box displays. |

Duplicate Template |
Create a new template by copying a standard one. The New Template dialog box displays. |
|
Delete Template |
Delete the selected template. A window is displayed to confirm the delete. |
|
Edit Template |
Put the selected template into Edit mode. Displays the Components tool box, the Properties box, and the graphical view of the template in the right frame. Use the Components tool box to modify the template. |

Save |
Save any changes you have made to the template. |
|
Undo Edit |
Delete all unsaved changes you have made to the template. A window is displayed to confirm this. |

Properties |
Display the Template Properties dialog box. Use the Template Properties dialog to modify the name and description of the template when it is in Edit mode. |
|
Delete Element |
Delete the selected component. A window is displayed to confirm the delete. This item is enabled only if the parent template is in Edit mode. |
Note: The following Configuration items are available only when the Visual Editor is started from AMU running standalong.

New Configuration |
Create a new platform configuration. The New Configuration dialog box displays. |
|
Duplicate Configuration |
Create a new configuration by copying the selected one. The New Configuration dialog box displays. |

Delete Configuration |
Delete the selected configuration. A window is displayed to confirm the delete. |
|
Edit Configuration |
Put the selected configuration into Edit mode. If the configuration is not based on a template, displays the Components tool box, the Properties box, and the graphical view of the configuration in the right frame. Use the Components tool box to modify the configuration. |

Save |
Save any changes you have made to the configuration. |

Undo Edit |
Delete all unsaved changes you have made to the configuration. A window is displayed to confirm this. |

Properties |
Display the Configuration Properties dialog box. Use the Configuration Properties dialog to modify the description or IP address of the configuration, to reference a template, or to remove or change a template reference when the configuration is in Edit mode. |

Delete the selected component. A window is displayed to confirm the delete. This item is enabled only if the parent configuration is in Edit mode. |
