Use a platform configuration to manage a platform in AMU running in standalone mode. You can create a configuration by basing it on an existing template or without a template base.
Right-click Platform Configurations in the left frame and select New Configuration. The New Configuration dialog box displays. Alternately, right-click a configuration and select Duplicate Configuration; the New Configuration dialog box displays.
Supply a description of the platform and the IP address of the platform's NAT box. Select the Reference to template checkbox, and in the dropdown menu, select the template on which to base the configuration.
Click OK. This dismisses the New Configuration dialog box and adds the configuration to the tree in the left frame in edit mode.
Right-click the new configuration in the left frame and select Save.
To manage the newly configured platform, exit Visual Editor (from the File menu select Close). In AMU, from the File menu select Open Platform. Select the name of the platform from the list in the dialog box.
Right-click Platform Configurations in the left frame and select New Configuration. The New Configuration dialog box displays.

The configuration, the Components tool box, and the Component Properties box display in the right frame. Create the configuration by adding cabinets if necessary and dragging and dropping components into the cabinets.
Right-click the new configuration in the left frame and select Save.
To manage the newly configured platform, exit Visual Editor (from the File menu select Close). In AMU, from the File menu select Open Platform. Select the name of the platform from the list in the dialog box.
