Committed Partition Map

After you have committed a partition, the Committed Partition Map dialog box displays the new map.

 

The following table explains the fields in this dialog box.

 

 

Partition

This column lists the names of the hard partitions discovered in the current partition map.  "U" in lieu of a color legend indicates that the partition is unassigned.

Console

Console name of the partition listed in the left-hand column of this row.

OS Status

The operating system status of the partition listed in the left-hand column of this row.
Running � an operating system is running in this partition.

Not Running � The SRM firmware is running.

Powered Off � The partition is powered off.

Faulted � There is a fault.

Unknown � APW cannot discover whether the OS is running.

OS Type

The operating system of the partition listed in the left-hand column of this row.

Duos

This column displays the number of Duos assigned to the partition.

CPUs

Number of CPUs assigned to the partition; may include Faulted CPUs

Memory (MB)

Total memory in MB assigned to the partition.

Soft Partitions

Number of soft partitions assigned to the hard partition.

 

 

Resources...

Display the Resources Dialog Box to view detailed information about all resources in the system.

Back

Returns you to the Create or Modify a Partition Map dialog box.

Quit

Exit APW.
