To open the Resources dialog box, click on the Resources button at the bottom of the Current Partition Map dialog box.
As you work with the APW wizard, this dialog box continues to display your changes. You can keep it on your desktop for reference as you move through the partition wizard. The information shown in the Resources dialog box is updated as you make changes.
Each square represents a dual-processor module (duo) slot that may contain a duo or a filler module, or may be empty. The color and legend of each square represents the hard partition for that duo slot. A smaller box in the upper left corner of each square displays the number assigned to the partition, with number 0 assigned to the first partition. A "U" indicates that the duo is unassigned.
The area below the duo grid displays information about the selected duo slot. You select a duo by clicking on it or tabbing to it. Selecting a duo shows the following information:
The names of the hard partition and soft partition.
The location of the duo slot by cabinet, drawer, and slot number.
A partition legend, which displays the number and color assigned to the partition
The status, memory, and connected PCI drawer are shown for each CPU in the selected dual-processor module slot.
If there is no dual-processor module in the slot, the CPU status is Empty for an empty slot and Filler for a dual-processor module filler board.
