Assign all duos to a hard partition to resolve this problem. The AlphaServer platform will still work even if the duos are left unassigned.

To resolve this problem, start the Resources dialog box, and modify the partition. Add and remove duos until the partition looks like a rectangle in the Resources dialog box.

Be sure the duo assigned is not a filler module or an empty slot. Assign additional duos to the hard partition to resolve this problem. Usually, the partition needs I/O, because every populated duo has both CPUs and memory. Look for a duo that has a connection to an I/O Drawer, or adjust the I/O cabling and ignore the error within APW. Power-off the affected partition before moving I/O cables.

Assign all duos within the hard partition to a soft partition to resolve this problem. The AlphaServer platform will still work even if the duos are left unassigned.
