The Server Platform Manager (SPM) is a Web-based application that provides a single point of access for the AlphaServer management utilities. With the SPM, an administrator can manage multiple ES47, ES80, GS1280, GS80, GS160, and GS320 servers from a single AlphaServer Management Station (AMS).
With SPM you can:
Display all managed AlphaServer platforms connected to an AMS.
Monitor the status of all servers.
Display general information about a server.
Display a server's event log.
Display console logs.
Launch management utilities such as APW, AMU, and HP management agents to perform server management tasks.
Access a platform's management port (MBM or master SCM port) and a partition's SRM/OS console.
Run the SPM client remotely from various browsers running on Windows, Tru64 UNIX, OpenVMS, or Linux systems.
