Use the AlphaServer Management Utility (AMU) to perform management tasks on ES47, ES80, and GS1280 platforms. These tasks include creating, modifying and deleting partitions; powering on and off partitions; checking cable connections; viewing environmentals (fan temperatures and voltage readings); and loading or upgrading firmware. The AMU can be accessed only by an operator or an administrator.
Access the AMU by doing one of the following:
Select the individual platform you want to manage in the left frame of the main display; then click the Actions menu on the menu bar and select AMU.
or
Right-click the individual platform in the left frame of the main display and choose AMU.
or
Select Platforms in the left frame and select Icons from the View menu; then right-click the individual platform in the right frame of the main display and select AMU.
The AMU application starts.
