Console Logging
Console logging can be set to one of three states, described below.
To set console logging options, choose the appropriate Actions
menu (see links below), choose Console
Logging, and select the variable you want to set.
Do Not Log or Monitor Output —
The console manager does not write console output to the log file, and
it does not check the output for patterns from the console's event definition
file.
Log Console Output —
The console manager writes all console output to the log file but does
not check for patterns from the event definition file.
Log Console Output and Monitor Events — The console
manager writes all console output to the log file, and it checks the output
for patterns from the console's event definition file. When a match is
found, the console manager sends an event to EVM. These
events are saved in EVM's log files; they can be viewed either from SPM's
Recent Events display or
in EVM's Event Viewer. For detailed
