GS80/GS160/GS320 Console Properties

Standalone Console Properties

Access the Console Properties display by doing one of the following:

Select the specific console you want to view in the left frame of the main display; then click Actions on the menu bar and select Properties.

Right-click the specific console you want to view in the left frame of the main display and select Properties.

Select Icons from the View menu; then right-click the specific console in the right frame of the main display and select Properties.

ES47, ES80, and GS1280 Console Properties

Name

Name of the platform.

Status

The current connection status of this console:

Open:	Cmfd has a connection to the console.
Inaccessible:	Users are connected to the console.
In Use:	Machine or network is down.
Refused:	Port is in use, external to cmfd.
Inaccessible:	Cmfd is trying to connect to the console.
Unknown:	Internal error has occurred.

Port

The console's port number.

Mapped Port

The port number supplied in the Mapped Port column of the Map Console Ports for External Telnet Access dialog box.

Logging

Enabled — cmfd logs the console output.
Disabled — cmfd does not log the console output.

Event Monitoring

Enabled — events are monitored
Disabled — events are not monitored.

GS80, GS160, and GS320 Console Properties

Name

Name of the platform.

Status

The current connection status of this console.

Open:	Cmfd has a connection to the console.
Inaccessible:	Users are connected to the console.
In Use:	Machine or network is down.
Refused:	Port is in use, external to cmfd.
Inaccessible:	Cmfd is trying to connect to the console.
Unknown:	Internal error has occurred.

Port

The console's port number.

Mapped Port

The port number supplied in the Mapped Port column of the Map Console Ports for External Telnet Access dialog box.

The IP address of the console.

Status

Open:	Cmfd has a connection to the console.
