The Event Viewer is the Tru64 UNIX EVM Event Viewer running on both the Tru64 and Linux AMS. If console output events are enabled, the Console Management Facility daemon (CMFD) forwards console-generated events to the EVM and these may be viewed with the Event Viewer. Note: ES47/ES80/GS1280 firmware alerts are always forwarded to EVM.
Access the Event Viewer by doing one of the following:
Select either the AMS Host icon or the Platforms icon in the left frame of the main display; then pull down the Actions choice on the menu bar and select Event Viewer.
or
Right-click either the AMS Host icon or the Platforms icon in the left frame of the main display and choose Event Viewer.
or
Select Icons
from the View menu; then right-click
the AMS Host icon or the Platforms icon in the right
frame of the main display and select
Event Viewer.
