Event Definition File

An event definition file specifies the strings that cmfd watches for in console output. You can create a new event definition file or modify an existing one with the Create/Modify Event Definition File dialog box. Access the Create/Modify Event Definition File dialog box by doing one of the following:

File to Open

A dropdown list of existing event files. Select (new file) to create a new event definition file.

Pattern

The pattern for which cmfd will watch. This pattern must be specified as a regular expression.

Priority

The priority level associated with this pattern.  
The AMS uses these ranges for the indicated severities:

200 -299

Informational

300 - 499

Warning

500 - 700

Error

 

Case Sensitive

Yes — The pattern is case sensitive.
No — The pattern is not case sensitive.

Select the appropriate button to insert a new row, to cut or copy the selected row, or to paste the cut or copied row.
