ES47/ES80/GS1280 Hard Partition Properties
GS80/GS160/GS320 Hard Partition Properties
Access the Hard Partition Properties display by doing one of the following:
Select the hard partition you want to view in the left frame of the main display; then click the Actions menu on the menu bar and select Properties.
or
Right-click the hard partition you want to view in the left frame of the main display and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
or
Select the platform in the left frame and select Icons from the View menu; then right-click the hard partition in the right frame of the main display and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
Drag the column heading to modify the size of a field; click the column header to sort the column alphabetically.

Hard Partition Name |
Name of the hard partition. Assigned when the hard partition is created; the initial default hard partition has a default name of "Default_HP" assigned by the firmware. |

State |
Operating state of the hard partition, either "Powered On" or "Powered Off". |
|
Number of Subpartitions |
Number of subpartitions reported for this hard partition. |
|
Number of Processors |
Total number of CPUs that are present in this hard partition. |
|
Total Memory |
Total amount of memory present in the hard partition. |
|
I/O Channels |
Number of I/O channels that are connected to the hard partition. |
Display hard partition properties in the right frame by selecting the hard partition in the left frame.
Access the Hard Partition Properties display box by doing one of the following:
Select the hard partition you want to view in the left frame of the main display; then click the Actions menu on the menu bar and select Properties.
or
Right-click the hard partition you want to view in the left frame of the main display and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
or
Select the platform in the left frame and select Icons from the View menu; then right-click the hard partition in the right frame of the main display and select Properties from the pop-up menu.

Hard Partition Name |
Name for the hard partition. Assigned by the SPM when the hard partition is created. |

State |
Operating state of the hard partition, either "Powered On" or "Powered Off". |

Number of Subpartitions |
The number of soft partitions in the hard partition. A hard partition may have soft partitions if the operating system is OpenVMS Galaxy. |
|
Number of Processors |
Total number of CPUs that are present in this hard partition. |
|
Total Memory |
Total amount of memory present in the hard partition. |
|
I/O Channels |
Number of I/O channels that are connected to the hard partition. |
|
Port Number |
The port number assigned to this hard partition. Used to access the hard partition's console. |
