ES47, ES80, or GS1280 Modify Platform
GS80, GS160, or GS320 Modify Platform
Use the Modify Platform dialog box to change attributes of a platform.
When you add, remove, or modify a platform, the information is updated on all SPM clients that are running at the time.
Access the Modify Platform dialog box by doing one of the following:
Select the platform in the left frame of the main display; then click the Actions menu on the menu bar and select Modify.
or
Right-click the platform in the left frame of the main display and choose Modify.
or
Select the Platforms icon in the left frame and select Icons from the View menu; then right-click the platform icon in the right frame of the main display and select Modify.

Name |
The unique name given to the platform. For continuity, HP recommends that the platform name be the same as the one assigned when configuring the NAT box for ES47, ES80, or GS1280 systems. |

Model |
The model number of the system, specified from a drop-down menu. |
|
NAT IP Address |
The NAT box (for ES47/ES80/GS1280) IP address that has been configured for this platform. |

Description |
Optional identification information. |
|
Layout Template |
A processor based template that determines the physical layout of the platform. The template is used by the AMU to accurately display the physical view of the platform. |

Event Definition File |
A list of all available files that contain text patterns for each type of console that may exist on a managed platform. Select a file from the list to associate it with the platform’s MBM console. |

Name |

Terminal Server IP Address |
The terminal server IP address that has been configured for this platform. |

Terminal Server Port Range |
The port numbers used when the terminal server was configured. If these port numbers are incorrect, the AMS server will fail to access and manage the platform. |
