Platform Properties Display
The Platform Properties Display is accessed by
Pulling down the Actions choice on the Menu
Bar and selecting Properties while the individual Platform you wish
to view is selected in the Left Frame of
the Main Display.
or
Right clicking on the individual Platform you wish to view in the Left Frame of the Main Display and selecting Properties.
or
Right-clicking on the individual Platform when
it appears in the Right Frame of the Main Display and selecting Properties.

Name |
User-assigned name for the Platform (assigned when it is added via the Add Platform Dialog Box). No spaces are allowed in this field. |

Address |
IP address of the NAT box. |
|
Port Number |
The MBM port number; used to open a telnet connection to the MBM. |

State |
The present status of the Platform. |
|
Model |
The model number of the hardware. |
|
Conn |
NAT (the type of connection to the Platform) |
|
Description |
User-supplied comment. |
|
Template |
Name of the processor based template, that combined with the Platform model, determines the physical layout of the Platform. The template is used by the AMU to accurately display the Hardware View of the Platform. |

Number of Hard Partitions |
The number of Hard Partitions defined on the Platform. |
|
Number of Processors |
The total number of Available cpus in the system. |
|
Total Memory |
The total reported memory along with units, i.e. 7168 MB. |
|
I/O Channels |
Total number of I/O channels that are connected to the Platform. |
Hard Partition Properties Display
The Hard Partition Properties Display is accessed by
Pulling down the Actions choice on the Menu Bar and selecting Properties while the Hard Partition you wish to view is selected in the Left Frame of the Main Display.

Right clicking on the Hard Partition you wish to view in the Left Frame of the Main Display and selecting Properties.
or
Right-clicking on the Hard Partition when it appears
in the Right Frame of the Main
Display and selecting Properties.

Name for the Hard Partition. Assigned when the Hard Partition is created; the initial default Hard Partition has a default name of "Default_HP" assigned by the firmware. |

Operating state of the Hard Partition, either "Powered On" or "Powered Off". |

Number of SubPartitions |
Number of SubPartitions reported for this Hard Partition. |

Number of Processors |
Total number of cpus that are present in this Hard Partition. |

Total Memory |
Total amount of memory present in the Hard Partition. |
|
I/O Channels |
Number of I/O channels that are connected to the Hard Partition. |
SubPartition Properties Display
The SubPartition Properties Display is accessed by
Pulling down the Actions choice on the Menu Bar and selecting Properties while the SubPartition you wish to view is selected in the Left Frame of the Main Display.

Right clicking on the SubPartition you wish to view in the Left Frame of the Main Display and selecting Properties.
or
Right-clicking on the SubPartition when it appears
in the Right Frame of the Main
Display and selecting Properties.

Total number of cpus that are present in the SubPartition. |

Total Memory |
The amount of memory along with units, i.e. 7168 MB. |

The number of I/O channels that are connected to the SubPartition. |
Console Properties Display
The Console Properties Display is accessed by
Pulling down the Actions choice on the Menu Bar and selecting Properties while the specific Console you wish to view is selected in the Left Frame of the Main Display .
or
Right clicking on the Specific Console you wish to view in the Left Frame of the Main Display and selecting Properties.
or
Right-clicking on the specific Console when it
appears in the Right Frame of the Main
Display and selecting Properties.
