Removing a Platform

After a platform is physically removed from the group connected to the AMS, it is removed from the SPM's database.

When you add, remove, or modify a platform, the information is updated on all SPM clients that are running at the time.

  1. Click to select the specific platform in the left frame. of the main display. If only the Platforms icon is visible, click the plus sign (+) to the left of the icon to expand it.

  1. Go to the Specific Platform Action Menu by doing one of the following:

With the specific platform you wish to delete selected, click  the Actions menu.

or

Select the specific platform, right click to display the specific platform Actions menu.

or

Right-click on the specific platform when it appears in the right frame of the main display and select Properties.

  1. Select Remove.

  2. Select Yes in the confirmation dialog.

Note: Only the most recently removed platform can be restored. To restore the most recently removed platform, select Undo.
