There are the following known issues and
product limitations in Intel® PAT Content and Service Management (CSM):
1.
If CSM is dragged under the Windows taskbar,
and the Windows taskbar is locked, the CSM user console may become stuck or
appear in an abnormal state. If this happens, you should restart the PC to
recover CSM functionality.
2.
Changing the CSM IP address and port
information from the General tab of the Options window of the CSM administrator
console will result in the CSM client not being able to connect to the CSM
server properly. Please refer to the user manual for the correct way to
configure IP address and port settings.
3.
List of online clients may not always be
current when viewed in the Advanced tab of Options
window of the CSM administrator console. This is caused by unstable LAN
conditions or unexpected disconnection of client PC.
4.
Game update packages will not be downloaded
immediately to client PCs that have run the game one or more times since the
last system restart. However, if the game update package affects the
client registry, the registry will take effect immediately, leading to an
inconsistency in the system and causing the game to be unable to be run.
Restarting the PC will resolve this issue.
5.
If the CSM client becomes disconnected from
CSM server, the user will not be able to download new games or new game update
packages. Restarting the PC will resolve this issue.
6.
If the i-café administrator installs a game or creates a
game update package, and then runs it before uploading it to the server, it may
cause a disk IO error during the data transfer process. Please do not
run games or update packages before uploading them. This is because
during launching, some games may delete some temporary folders which causes
game/game update package incomplete. We suggest i-café
administrator not to launch the game before new game/game update package
uploading.
7.
Client disk partitions managed by CSM must
be NTFS format and not protected by other hard-disk restore tools including
Intel® PAT Hard Disk Restore.
8.
CSM doesn’t support games located
within the subfolders of other games. This may cause CSM to function
abnormally.
9.
If server is un-installed, all CSM data
will be deleted.
