With the basic configuration of ServerConductor, the manager provides centralized management of several servers and the system administrator manages the system from the management console. This configuration is shown below. In this example one Windows server and one Linux server are managed from one manager and one management console.

Note

You can use the same machine as both the management console and the manager. In such a case, you must install the console service and the manager service on the same machine.
