ServerConductor/Blade Server Manager Description and Reference

This subsection describes the environment (such as the programs) required for the multiple-manager configuration.

Organization of this subsection: (1) console1; (2) manager1, manager2; (3) agent1, agent3, agent4; (4) agent2

To set console1 as the management console, the following environment is required:

Item	Name
Programs	BSM Install the console service.
Settings	IP address or host name of the manager (manager1, manager2)

For details about the environment required for a manager, see 2.1.2 Required environment.

To set agent1, agent3, and agent4 as managed servers, the following environment is required:

Item	Name
Programs	Agent (Windows) Install the agent service.
Settings	agent1 is the IP address or host name of the manager (manager1) agent3 is the IP address or host name of the manager (manager2) agent4 is the IP address or host name of the manager (manager2) Local server's site information

To use agent2 as a managed server, the following environment is required:

Item	Name
Programs	Agent (Linux) Install the agent service.
Settings	IP address of the manager (manager1) Local server's device-type information Local server's site information
