(1) Uninstalling ServerConductor programs from a manager, management console, or Windows server
A user with the Administrators permissions must perform uninstallation.
To uninstall ServerConductor programs:
- From Control Panel, choose Add or Remove Programs, then ServerConductor.
The Uninstall ServerConductor dialog box appears. Follow the wizard's instructions to uninstall ServerConductor.
- Restart the system.
- Note
- If you do not restart the system after uninstalling ServerConductor, an attempt to re-install ServerConductor might fail. Therefore, make sure that you restart the system after uninstalling ServerConductor.
- If you have installed the Web console service, release the Tomcat settings, and then uninstall BSM. If you uninstall BSM without releasing the Tomcat settings, files for the Web console service are deleted, making the Web console unusable.
(2) Uninstalling ServerConductor programs from a Linux server
Uninstall Agent from the Linux server. To do this, use the RPM package and uninstallation shell script. A superuser (root) must perform this procedure.
To uninstall ServerConductor programs:
- Stop the agent service.
For details about how to stop the agent service, see 3.6.3(2) Stopping the agent service.
- Start uninstall.sh.
Enter the following command:
/opt/hitachi/serverconductor/agent/sbin/uninstall.sh
A message appears asking whether to start uninstallation.
- Press the Y key.
Uninstallation begins.
