3.7.4 Setting detailed information (Web console service)

Set detailed information about the Web console service by clicking the Set Details button.

This section explains the detailed information that can be set in the Web console service.

(1) Network (Common) information

Specify common network information. Select the Network (Common) tab in the Environment Setting Utility dialog box.

This dialog box enables you to specify the following information:

Settings Description
Sending timeout period Specify a send timeout value from 1 to 3600 seconds. The default is 30 seconds.
IP address used when multiple IP addresses are configured If more than one LAN port is installed, select this checkbox, and then specify the IP addresses to be used.

Send timeout period
This is the amount of time the Web console service continues to try sending when a transmission error occurs between the Web console service and the manager service.

(2) Network (Service) information

Specify network service settings. Select the Network (Service) tab in the Environment Setting Utility dialog box.

This dialog enables you to set the following information:

Settings Description
Command execution wait time Specify the amount of time, from 1 to 600 seconds, that the Web console service waits for execution of a command when the same command is requested to the same host from different Web management consoles. The default is 120 seconds.
Command timeout period Specify the amount of time, from 1 to 6000 seconds, to wait for a reply to a transmission from a Web management console to the Agent service. The default is 120 seconds.
Communications logging Select this check box to log communications activities. The default is that this check box is selected.

Command timeout period
This is the amount of time the Web management console waits for a response after sending a command to the Agent service.

(3) Login information

Specify information about retrying to log in to the manager service after the Web server has been started or when communications with the manager service must be re-established due to an error. To set this information, select the Login tab in the Environment Setting Utility dialog box.

This dialog box enables you to specify the following information:

Settings Description
Number of login retries Specify the number of times login can be retried, from 0 to 30 times, when the Web console service logs into the service manager.
The default is 0.
Login retry interval Specify the interval between retries, from 1 to 60 seconds, when login by the Web console service to the service manager is retried.
The default is 10 seconds.

(4) Display information

Specify whether time differences are to be displayed when you use the Web console service. Select the Display tab in the Environment Setting Utility dialog box.

This dialog box enables you to specify the following information:

Settings Description
View of Time Differences To display the time difference, select the View of Time Differences checkbox. The default is that this check box is selected.
Unit of temperature To display the temperature in Centigrade, select the Centigrade check box. To display the temperature in Fahrenheit, select the Fahrenheit check box.
By default, the Fahrenheit check box is selected.
