15.2.2 Tree area and detail area

The tree area displays the servers that are managed by the Web management console.

Clicking a link in the tree area displays details about the clicked server in the detail area. The figure below shows the detail area.

You can change the view mode for the tree area from the View menu. There are three view modes:

The following describes how to view each mode and the information that is displayed in the window.

(1) Displaying by site

From the View menu, choosing Site View displays site information of hosts hierarchically. To use the site view, you must have already used the environment settings utility to set the site information. For details about the site view, see 3.5.2 Setting the site information. The following figure shows an example of information that is displayed in this mode:

(2) Displaying by domain

From the View menu, choosing Domain View displays the Windows domain information of hosts hierarchically. The following figure shows an example of information that is displayed in this mode:

A server with no domain information (Linux server) is registered under Servers.

(3) Displaying by service configuration

From the View menu, choosing Service Configuration View displays the hosts connected to the manager service by manager. The following figure shows an example of information that is displayed in this mode:
