To display inventory information for a host:

1. In the Host management window, in the detail area, select the check box for the host whose inventory information is to be displayed.
2. From the Host management menu, choose Inventory.
   The Inventory window appears.
   An inventory information category tree is displayed in the left-hand frame of the window. This is called the inventory tree.
   
3. From the inventory tree, choose the inventory information to be checked.
   You can manipulate the inventory tree in the same manner as in Windows Explorer. The inventory information chosen from the inventory tree is displayed in the inventory area in the right-hand frame of the window.
   

The inventory items that are displayed depend on the managed host. For details about the inventory items that are displayed for each host, see Appendix C. Inventory Information.
