In the Host management window, an unconnected icon is displayed for unconnected hosts, such as a host that has restarted.

To reconnect an unconnected host:

1. In the Host management window, select the host that is to be connected.
   Select a host for which the unconnected icon is displayed.
   
2. From the Host management menu, choose Connect.
   Confirmation dialog box is displayed.
   
3. Click the OK or All OK button.
   The selected host is reconnected and becomes a managed object again.
