Changing Behavior Modes and Parameters
Perform the following steps to change the behavior mode and parameters:
1.
In the Change Personality screen, select the Change Behavior Mode checkbox.
2.
From the Select Behavior Mode drop-down list, select an appropriate behavior mode. The available behavior modes are:

JBOD - If all the physical drives are in unconfigured good state, once you select the JBOD mode, all the physical drives are automatically converted to JBOD physical drives.

NONE - All the physical drives are automatically converted to unconfigured good state.
3.
If you have selected JBOD as your behavior mode, you can also select the required parameters from Configure Parameters.

Auto secure SED – Enables or disables the automatic security feature of FDE-capable drives.

SES Management – Enables or disables the enclosure management options.
![]()
Multipath Enabled – Enables or disables multipathing.

MultiInit Enabled – Indicates whether the firmware supports multiple initiators, sharing the same storage. If MultiInit is enabled, when one initiator issues a target reset due to I/O timeout, it does not result in another initiator issuing the target reset due to topology change event.
