NVM Update Package v5.05

Overview
========
This package contains all the required files to update the NVM image that 
enables/disables the SFP+ ports on the Intel(R) Server Board S2600ST Family. 
It contains the nvmupdate64e tool, nvmupdate64 configuration file, 
updated NVM binaries, and required driver files.


Limitations and Prerequisites
=============================
This package should only be used on Intel branded adapters. Please contact your
OEM vendor for an appropriate package. This package only updates the NVM
image. It does not update the preboot image.

Linux and ESX Requirements
--------------------------
The base driver for your NIC must already be installed.

UEFI Requirements
-----------------
Having a USB flash drive and an available USB port on the system to be updated

				WARNING
=============================================================================

- DO NOT Power down your system during the NVM Update.
- DO NOT Remove the NIC before the NVM Update completes.
- DO NOT Interrupt the NVM Update in any other way.

Doing any of these may make your device unusable.


Updating Your NVM 
========================================
1. This update package allows to enable or disable the SFP+ ports on your S2600ST server board.
2. Extract the update package into a temporary folder.
3. Navigate to your temporary folder with the extracted files.
4. Select the desired method (EFI, Linux, Windows) and navigate to appropiate sub-folder 
to enable or disable the SFP ports
5. Run command "nvmupdatexxx.xxx -c nvmupdate.cfg -rd".
5. Follow prompts on screen.
6. AFTER update completes remove AC from system and wait 30 seconds before applying power and turning system back on.
