Here are some quick pointers to help you get started.

Overview

This integration package enables you to integrate and deploy Intel Authenticate in your network using Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO).

• For background information about Intel Authenticate, and instructions how to setup and deploy using GPO, refer to the integration guide: Intel(R)_Authenticate_GPO.pdf.
• For a list of known issues and limitations, refer to the release notes: Intel(R)_Authenticate_ReleaseNotes.pdf.
• To understand how your end user's will be required to enroll with Intel Authenticate, refer to the enrollment guide:
  Intel(R)_Authenticate_Enrollment_Guide.pdf.

Getting Started

Before you deploy Intel Authenticate, it is recommended to make sure that your client platforms meet the minimum requirements for Intel Authenticate. Intel Authenticate has minimum requirements for installation, and additional requirements for some of the authentication factors.

• For a list of prerequisites, refer to the Client Platform Prerequisites section of the integration guide.
• You can use the Check Tool supplied in this package to verify the status of your platforms. For more information, refer to the Using the Check Tool section of the integration guide.

When you are ready to deploy, you will need to create a policy and sign it with a digital signing certificate.

• The requirements for the signing certificate are described in the Preparing a Digital Signing Certificate section of the integration guide. This section also includes a command line example you can use to create a test signing certificate using PowerShell 5.
• You create the policy using the Profile Editor plugin supplied in this package. The Signing Certificate section in the plugin will also let you know if the signing certificate you created is valid for Intel Authenticate. For more information, refer to the Creating a Policy section of the integration guide.
