Dear Fellow "The New Print Shop" Users,

When converting Print Shop Graphics to the New Print Shop Graphics format
using their conversion program, I found that any graphic with a name
consisting of more than 15 spaces resulted in a graphic that was unreadable by
the New Print Shop Program. Trying to use the graphic resulted in an error
code and my computer would lock up and I would have to reboot, reload The New
Print Shop to be able to continue.

Several graphics titles in BBD #35 and BBD #41 contained more than 15
spaces. I found that by using the name edit portion of the Print Shop
Utilities III program (BBD #34), that if I shortened the graphic title to no
more than 15 spaces The New Print Shop's Convert Program could convert the
titles so the individual graphics could be read and used by The New Print Shop
 Program.

I enjoy using the BBD graphics very much and hope this will make things
somewhat easier for those of us who have upgraded to The New Print Shop.

^1> I'm sure all of our New Print Shop users really appreciate this
^1>information. We have just recently become aware of this problem, and have
^1>found that using Print Shop Utilities III's Name Edit function works nicely.
^1>A big THANK YOU to Harold for helping us out!

 Dear Big Blue Disk,

I want to write about your program Abstract Art offered in BBD #41. It's
author Terry Wilk states in his introduction that "You just sit back and
watch." Boy, is he wrong! That's when the real work begins.

I have been using my Cam-corder along with my computer for two years
making titles for my movies. These titles have all been two dimensional prior
 to your Abstract Art program.

I want to thank Terry Wilk for writing this program, and Big Blue Disk for
publishing it. Can you possibly pass on this THANK YOU to Terry and ask him
to work on super-imposed titles! If he can program something like that and
sell it to the Desk-Top video community, he will become a Millionaire.

P.S. After the Second Million, my name is Charlie Dixon.

^1> I'm sure that Terry appreciates your kind words. We have received
^1>many positive comments about Abstract Art (I'm a big fan of the program.)
^1>Sounds to me like you have found a really creative way of using it!

^1>P.S. By the way Terry, after the third million, my name is . . .

 Dear Big Blue Disk,

I have been using the MailMaster program that you featured in Big Blue
Disk #38. The mailing labels work fine and the ability to "select/sort" in
several combinations is terrific. The only thing that I find that does not
print properly is the telephone directory. It will only print one line at a
time. Do you think that this program can be modified to print like a normal
telephone directory? It would be great for small organizations such as mine.

Thank you for your time and keep up the GREAT WORK. I look forward to
receiving your disk monthly and read up on the latest material that you have
 to offer.

^1> Thanks for the compliments. We've received a lot of response on
^1>MailMaster. Unfortunately, we don't have any immediate plans of upgrading the
^1>program. We have so many other projects that need to be worked on first.
^1>However, I will keep a copy of your letter and make sure that we include try
^1>an include the feature you mention. Thanks for the suggestion.
