 Dear BBD,

Well I have been trying for quite some time to get my wife involved with the
computer. And now you have come up with the way. Starting with Chagunitzu,
then you went to Pyramid, and now she is on Catacombs. She looks forward to
the next issue each month. On top of all that she now is starting BASIC.
Since you've started this, I don't get to use my computer on weekends.

Thanks again for your help and keep up the good work.

^1> There is a lesson to be learned here. Don't let your loved ones

^1>you'll never get to use it again!

 Hi Everyone at Big Blue,

I've been getting Big Blue for a while and have enjoyed it very much. I'm
been very pleased with the performance and selection. One thing I've tried
and haven't had and luck with is putting both disks on a RAM Disk, taking
the hassle out of changing floppies. And then when you copy using BB will
BB create subdirectories? Also a lot of the graphical programs load and I
have to adjust my monitor over to the right, I have a Taxtan Super Vision
 770 Multisink monitor.

Thank you very much for an excellent magazine,

^RMark Burwinkel

^1>Question 1: Getting BBD to run off a RAM Disk.

^1>All you have to do to get our disks to run off your RAM Disk is copy all the
^1>files off of both disks to your RAM Disk, set DOS to the RAM disk and enter
^1>"GO". Our menu will check the disk and assume both disk are there if the
 ^1>default disk will hold as much as a 720k 3 1/2 " disk. Here's a play by play
 ^1>for you.

^1>Assume: RAM Disk is Drive E, BBD is in Drive C

 ^1>Put BBD disk 1 into drive A

 ^1>DOS PROMPT>A:
 ^1>DOS PROMPT>Copy *.* E:\

 ^1>Place BBD Disk 2 in drive A

 ^1>DOS PROMPT>Copy *.* E:\
 ^1>DOS PROMPT>E:
 ^1>DOS PROMPT>GO

^1>At this point BBD should be off and running with amazing speed.

^1>Question 2: Does BBD Copy create subdirectories?

^1>No, but we will include this feature on a future update of the
 ^1>BBD menu shell.

 ^1>Question 3: Monitor shift problems.

^1>We'll need a little more information to answer this one. What type
^1>and brand of video card do you have? Does this shift happen with all
^1>BBD graphical programs? Does this shift happen with any other
 ^1>companies graphical program?

^1>I would love to help, but I need more information to go on.
