This file contains the corrections to the Manual and Technical Supplement.

ENTERING THE WORD FOR THE COPY PROTECTION: When looking for the word to type
in, ignore all text in the bubbles and all boldface words.

After you lose a game and have gone through the lose sequence, you will be
taken back to the warehouse at day 1.

TANDY USERS: Replace all occurances of "SCR-LCK" key in the manual with the
"HOLD" key. Also, the arrow keys do not work. Use the numeric keypad.
It is recomended that you play without sound; if you play with sound,
you may run out of memory during SCUBA. If you want to play with
sound, you can safely do so if you play with CGA graphics.

VGA USERS: The VGA graphics for the Punisher are designed to depict nighttime
scenes. Because of this, they are dark and use low-intensity colors,
and can be difficult to see if there is a large amount of light on
around the computer. It is therefore recomended that you play The
Punisher in low light levels if possible. You should NOT play The
Punisher in a completely dark room. EGA graphics are much easier to
	see in brighter environments.

FLOPPY DRIVE USERS: The Punisher will use only one floppy drive in systems
that have multiple drives. All disk exchanges should be made into
the original drive the game was started from. Game saves may be
placed onto another drive, and a save disk may be exchanged for the
game disk. Put the save disk in the drive after it asks for the
drive to save to, and put the game disk back in after the game is
saved. When making disk swaps, be sure not to change disks until
	prompted to do so.

TO MAKE A 3.5" VERSION:
Copy original disk A to 3.5" disk A
Copy original disks B and C to 3.5" disk B
You now have a 3.5" version of the game.

COVOX SOUND MASTER (TM) OWNERS:
If you have a Covox Sound Master(TM) card, you can use a joystick if it is
in port 1 (by the speaker outlet). You must answer "Yes" to the
joystick question and "3" (covox sounds) at the sound question. You
will not be asked about joystick calibration. If you want to use
the joystick without sound, disconect the speakers from the card.

To reboot your computer while playing the game, hit the SCR-LCK (Scroll Lock)
key if you are in WAREHOUSE or VAN mode. Use CTRL-ALT-DEL if you are
	in foot mode.

New options in the Warehouse:
    In the Garage:
If you want to go directly to Ground combat and bypass the Simulator,
Select the "Driving Van" option in the garage (this will change to
read "Getting a Ride"). When you Begin Mission, you will be placed
directly into Ground combat. You will be asked where you would want
to go. Type in the Street number (using the numbers on the top row
of the keyboard), and hit the Enter key. You will then be given
a list of avenues. Type in the NUMBER of the avenue you want to
go to, and hit enter. You will then start at the intersection of these
two streets. The Van will still appear. When you walk onto the van,
you will be asked if you want to return to the warehouse. If you do
not, you will again be asked where you want to go to.
    In with Microchip:
There is now a "Hunt Kingpin" option that appears when you have the
$500,000. Selecting this will send you out after Kingpin. You will
	only have one crack at him.  You do not have to choose this option;
you can go out on other missions. However, if your funds fall below
$500,000, this option will no longer appear. Note that when day 13
rolls around, you will automatically be sent on the Kingpin mission if
you have enough money. If you don't have enough money, you will be
	presented with the lose screen.

If you do drive the van, you will now start on Fifth avenue, heading south.

In Ground combat (Foot mode), hitting the 'V' key will bring up a window
with the current mission text that Microchip gave you in the warehouse.
Hit any key to resume playing the game.

To capture a person, knock them out with an unarmed attack.

To bribe someone, use money when you are facing them.
