WHAT'S IT ABOUT?

World Conquest is a shareware game inspired by the popular Parker Brothers,
Inc. board game RISK. A person or a set of people can play against each
other and/or a set of computer controlled opponents in a challenge to control
the world. Each computer opponent has its own distinct personality: some
players are conservative and some are positively agressive! Every game is
different. Sometimes you win easily and other times the computer opponents
crush you!

WHAT ARE THE GRAPHICS LIKE?

The game uses only ANSI graphics. There are a number of reasons for this
(including portability/compatibility and lack of a good EGA/VGA graphic
shape generating/drawing program). The entire map of the world IS displayed
on one screen (albeit crude). I someday plan to write or will find a
program to generate EGA/VGA images that can be manipulated. Anyway, I
think that the computer play will make up for the lack of incredible graphics
for now.

PLAY NOW, READ THE DOCUMENTION LATER!

The game is fairly easy to pick up and if you've played the Parker Brothers
board game then this should seem familar. To get things rolling just type:
	risk
(Note: for demo/kicks enter 0 people and sit back and watch the computers
	rail on each other!)
Read risk.txt to find out more details, short-cuts, history and registration
information.
