                               ARMADA 2525 v1.0
                               ================

Forcing Display Type
====================
Normally the display type is auto detected, but sometimes this does not work
properly (for instance some VGA mono machines like to pretend they are EGA
mono) and you have to set the mode manually.

	To run in EGA mode type "2525 e"

	To run in VGA mode type "2525 v"

XT Class Machines with VGA
==========================
These machines are simply too slow to run the 256 colour VGA mode used. If you
don't like scrolling that's about as fast as a pregnant hippo, use EGA mode
which is fine.

Memory Requirements
===================
About 420K free is needed to run the program in its minimum configuration in
EGA with no sound and no map panel. The sound and map panel are loaded only if
sufficient memory is available. If there is not enough memory to run in VGA
mode then EGA mode is automatically selected.

Display Hardware
================
The program requires VGA colour or mono, or EGA colour. It does not work with
MCGA.

===============================
The computer in fact plays much more aggressively in the hard game than in the
fair game. Hard game is the hardest setting in which the computer is not given
an unfair advantage.
