                            Version 2.3 - 08/19/92

Thank you for purchasing Breach 2. There are a few last minute changes and
updates that may not be documented in your Manual. Please read the following
information before playing Breach 2.

 1) Memory
--------------

When running in the EGA, VGA, or MCGA graphics modes, Breach 2 requires
almost all the available memory on a 512K system. If you receive an error
message "not enough memory", here are a few things you can do:

   1) Be sure you are running Breach 2 from the DOS prompt. Running the game
from within a file manager (such as Deskmate or Windows) may not leave
   enough memory for the program.

   2) Check the device drivers loaded in your CONFIG.SYS file. This includes
RAM disks, disk caches, and sound drivers. You may need to remove some or
all drivers. You will need to leave the mouse driver installed in order
to use a mouse with the game.

   3) Remove all TSR (terminate and stay resident) programs such as Sidekick.

   4) If you still receive the memory error, you may need to remove your
mouse driver. Also, selecting the internal speaker as opposed to one of
the sound boards will use less memory. Using the CGA mode will also save
   on required memory.

 1) Mouse Support
---------------------

If you are having trouble running Breach 2 with your mouse, check the
version of the mouse driver. Some older mouse drivers will not work
correctly with the game. You may need to contact your mouse manufacturer
   about updating the driver.
