  To bring up the NavMap from the instrument room press 'n' or use the
  mouse to click on the NavMap "crt" screen. As with all instruments,
  'e' or clicking the EXIT panel button lets you exit that instrument.
  Since you will often want to monitor the pilothouse gauges while using
  the NavMap, you can toggle between the two with 'n' and 'f'. This feature
  is unique to the NavMap because of its close association with the front
  view.
  The following describes the NavMap panel buttons and their use.
  LAND Overlays an outline of land in the North Atlantic region.
          Keypress 'l'.
  BRNG Overlays Latitude, Longitude, and Heading.
          Keypress 'b'.
  DATA Overlays Distance from nearest land mass if less than 225 miles.
          Keypress 'd'.
  WEATHER Overlays weather fronts in the North Atlantic region.
          Keypress 'w'.
  P/D Show points that are valid ports for your ship, where you may
          go to "refresh" the ships fuel, water, etc.
          Keypress 's'.
  COLOR You may pick one of four color schemes for the NavMap display.
          Keypress 'k'.
  PLOTTER If ship engines are on, allows you to travel with arrow keys
          without losing the time it would actually take. All ship resour-
          ces are drained and mileage added as you use the PLOTTER to
          travel. Remember, you are actually sailing, just in a warp mode.
          The PLOTTER mode terminates either by 1] you press 'r' or click
          the RESTORE button a second time to toggle it off, whereupon you
          will be restored to previous position or 2] you press 'g' or
          click the GO button to preserve the PLOTTER actions you have
          made. If you invoke an AUTO SHUTDOWN while in PLOTTER mode,
          you can do a RESTORE to get out of it, if you press GO you
          will be stranded and should get help from a passing ship.
          Keypress 'p'.
  GO If PLOTting, saves the current position and ship state, from
          which you cannot go back.
          Keypress 'g'.
  RESTORE To take the ship back to the state it was in before you entered
          Plotter mode. If you generate an AUTOSHUTDOWN condition while
          PLOTting, you recover from it by doing a Restore.
          Keypress 'r'.
  CLEAR Wipes the NavMap screen clean.
          Keypress 'c'.
  EXIT Exit NavMap to Instrument room.
          Keypress 'e'.

  1,2,3,4: The number keys 1 thru 4 allow you to change the amount
           each arrow press moves the ship. However, you must be
           at a far enough distance from land, or else the ship
           monitoring system will govern how big of movements you can
           make.
           1 = 2.04  miles at a time
           2 = 10.2  miles at a time
           3 = 50.32 miles at a time
           4 = 102.0 miles at a time

  While in NavMap, the arrow keys are used to move the ship around in
  Plotter Mode. Dont think that the Plotter can completely replace
  sailing "real-time". This is because the Plotter is functionally limited
  to moving in one of FOUR directions, at a smallest resolution of .001
  degrees. Thus you will not be able to negotiate every area just by using
  the Plotter.
