   
  The TeleType gives you printed messages generated from two sources:
  1] the ships monitoring system, and 2] outside radio messages from
  ports or other vessels. You can also send a prepared distress signal
  from the TeleType to try and obtain help and recover from an AUTO
  SHUTDOWN situation. 
  The buttons are:
  RECEIVE  Left click to play any audio message(s) pending from the 
           outside world.
           Keypress 'r'.
  SEND     Each SEND invocation transmits a standard distress signal on
           a standard frequency. you only want to do this when you are
           stranded and are looking to recover from an AUTO SHUTDOWN
           situation.
           Keypress 's'.
  CH1      Channel 1 contains message(s) - usually warnings - generated
           by the ships own monitoring system.
           Keypress '1'.
  CH2      Channel 2 is the frequency channel that outside transmissions 
           are received on. Usually Port messages, and usually accompan-
           ied by an audio radio message.
           Keypress '2'.
  EXIT     To restore instrument room overall view.
           Keypress 'e'.





