     Installation -

Install all program files to a clean, new subdirectory. All program
files should be in the same directory. While you can run AMaze from a floppy
disk we recommend you run it from a hadr drive.

     Program Requirements -

     IBM Compatible
VGA system supporting 256 color MCGA graphics
     450K memory
     700K disk space

     Story -

You are Jake Jones, maze dweller. In the hedge mazes of time, you find
yourself lost while in search of the Princess of Lost Time. In the hedge maze
of her magnificent castle, you will encounter many traps and items of which to
tax you.

     Main Menu -

In the main menu you have a choice of three saved games. While playing
a game you may save at any time. To begin a game, select the game slot of
which you want to play. Use the arrow keys to cursor the red outline to
the slot, or use the mouse. The last choice will allow you to exit the game.
Each slot will have a picture indicating its current level of play.
By selecting a slot with the arrow keys, then pressing delete, you can erase
a saved game.

     Game Play -

After selecting a game slot, the game will begin. When the game screen
appears, Jake will walk into action from the bottom of the screen. Use the
arrow keys to move jake around in the room. To go into another room, simply
move jake through a passageway. When you exit the room, you will hear a beep.
Once in another room, Jake will again walk up into the screen. Whenever you
turn a corner, the entire maze will rotate around you, thus forward can be
north, south east or west. The Enter key, or left mouse button, will open
the "Do Something" menu. Here, you can use your scences, and do other tasks.
Use the arrow keys to select a task. Their are always more than four tasks
that you can do, so by pressing right while on the right-most selection, you
can do other tasks. Saving, Loading, and Exiting tasks are always available.
If you are using the mouse, by clicking on the right or left most items with
the right mouse button, you can scroll through the actions. Pick an action
with the left mouse button.

     Viewing items -

In the course of your game, you will no doubt pick up a few items. To
see what items you currently have, press the space bar.
