Mission #4,
May 2 (Night). A Sea King helicopter from HMS Coventry reports that it is
under fire from an Argentine patrol boat. Engage and disable or sink the
patrol boat and any other escorting vessels. Beware of mines and
sea-launched Exocet missiles.

Background: A Sea King helicopter operating 90 miles inside the Exclusion
Zone was fired upon by an Argentine patrol boat. A Westland Lynx
helicopter fired a salvo of two Sea Skua missiles at the patrol boat
thought to be the 689-ton Comodoro Somellera. The flash from the exploding
ship was visible for 25 miles. The converted ocean salvage tug was thought
to be carrying mines. A second ship, thought to be the Alferez Sobral, was
heavily damaged but managed to reach Puerto Belgrano.
