Mission #6:
April 15. Friendly aircraft are being launched in large numbers. Monitor
your sensors for any attacking targets.

Background: At 0200 hours Libyan time, the Coral Sea began launching its
Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. At 0045 hours, the America followed suit.
More than seventy aircraft were released into the darkness of the late
night sky. These aircraft included fourteen A-6s, six A-7s, and six F/A
18s.

Mission #7:
April 15. Friendly aircraft have begun jamming Libyan radar and
communications sites. Destroy these sites as they turn their radars on.

Background: At 0154 hours, EF-111s and EA-6B Prowlers began their
defense, jamming against Libyan radar and communications. This action
flushed out the Libyan radars that had been resting quietly, making the
radar sites vulnerable to the fire attacks of the A-7s and F/A-18s with
Shrike and HARM missiles, respectively. The radar beams were driven back
to their sites, and more than a dozen Libyan surface-to-air (SAM) missile
sites were leveled from the onslaught of 48 anti-radiation missiles.
