August 10. Escort the allied relief convoy off the coast of Yugoslavia. 
Use any means necessary to ensure the safety of the ships in the convoy.

Background:  The U.S. Task Force was ordered to provide escort for the 
allied relief convoy off the coast of Yugoslavia. The Task Force was told 
that they were allowed to use any means possible to ensure the safety of 
the ships they were escorting.

Discovery of Submarines off Yugoslavia:  11 August 1993
Mission #5:  
August 11. Although three submarines have been detected off the coast of 
Yugoslavia, destroy only submarines from countries currently hostile 
toward the U.S. Get a positive identification on any targets before you 
open fire.

Background:  Three submarines were detected off the coast of Yugoslavia, 
each from a different country. The U.S. Task Force was ordered to sink 
only the hostile submarine. A C.I.S. Victor III followed the task force 
and then directed its attention toward the USS Moosbrugger and the 
Yugoslavian submarine. There were also a number of ships patrolling the 
area off the Yugoslavian coast, looking for submarines and mines in the 
area and along the Yugoslav border.
