Passive Sonar: Passive Sonar allows you to search for submerged targets
(submarines) without giving your own presence away. The information you
can receive using Passive Sonar includes distance and identification of a
submerged contact. You can also launch countermeasures from this screen.

Sonar (Active Sonar): Sonar provides more information than Passive Sonar,
but using this feature allows any target in the area that is listening to
detect you. You can determine the location and identification of
sub-surface contacts using Sonar.
Radar: The Radar Screen allows you to select different types of radars to
filter out different types of targets.

Fire Control: The Fire Control Screen is one of the most important
screens in the simulation. Here, you can select a target, change the
status on a weapon system and fire your weapons. The Fire Control Screen
also allows you to monitor the quantity of firepower remaining at any
given time.

TV News Screen: You get feedback on your mission performance through the
TV News Screen. When you complete a mission, whatever its outcome, you
will see a TV news report of your ship, crew and captain (you).
