
Refer to "NTDS Symbology" and "Hooking a Target" at the beginning of this 
chapter for more information on targets. Hooked target information is 
displayed in the upper right corner of the screen as follows:

ID:      Identification of the target
Range:   The range or distance of the target from your ship in nautical 
miles
Bearing: The bearing of the target in degrees
Speed:   The speed of the target in knots
Height:  The height of the target in feet; negative values indicate sub-
         surface targets

Icons
A number of icons run down the left side of the screen as follows:

CIC:  Clicking on the "CIC" icon with the left mouse button or entering 
"Alt-C" takes you to the CIC Screen.

F:  Clicking on the "F" icon with the left mouse button or pressing lower 
case "f" will display all "sensed" friendly targets. Clicking on the "F" 
icon with the right mouse button or pressing upper case "F" will filter 
friendly targets from the screen.
