Range: is in nautical miles, and signifies the radius coverage of the
map, i.e., half of the map's diameter. The number to the right of "NM" is
the rate of change for the increment of nautical miles you can change the
view. The default (and minimum) is 1 nautical mile, and the maximum is 25
nautical miles. The range allows you to see more or less of a desired area
of the map.

Time: can be sped up to decrease the amount of time it takes to complete
a scenario. The default is 1, and the maximum is 32 times faster than real
time. To increase the time passage, click on the "TIME" number with the
right mouse button or enter "Shift-]" (}). To decrease the time, click on
the "TIME" number with the left mouse button, or enter "Shift-[" ({).

NOTE: Speeding up the time in the simulation may slow down your
computer as it works to compute data and display graphics more rapidly.
The simulation may automatically reset the time back to x01 if it senses
that your computer is not capable of operating at the advanced rate of
speed.
