Bearing: Bearing gives the target's position relative to true north
(i.e., where the target is located) relative to your ship.

Fire: The Fire feature allows you to specify whether or not a ship will
fire automatically and within what range it will fire (the default is
Max). Fire relates to the firing range of an asset to a target. When the
"Fire" text is green, the ship will not fire automatically; red text
signifies that a ship will fire automatically. The firing range varies
from 1 to 100, at which the firing range text will read "MAX". For
example, if you want a ship in your group to fire on targets as soon as
they are within 100 nautical miles, you would select a firing range of 100
nautical miles. If you want a ship to fire only when a target is within 1
nautical mile, you would select a firing range of 1 nautical mile. The
higher the number of the firing range, the sooner the asset will be able
to fire on a target. Click on the "Fire Range" line with the right mouse
button, or press lower case "w" to increase the number of nautical miles
for the firing range. Press upper case "W" or click on the "Fire Range"
line with the left mouse button to decrease the number of nautical miles
for the firing range.

NOTE: When the firing range reaches MAX, this represents the full
potential of the ship's firing range according to the weapon system being
used.
