1993 - THE ADRIATIC SEA|
As the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to deteriorate,
the United States and its allies continue to debate the role the U.N.
will play as peacemaker. The United States has been escorting merchant
convoys bound for Bosnia into a Yugoslavian port just south of Croatia
and Bosnia/Herzegovina. The Yugoslavian and Croatian governments have
guaranteed safe passage to all relief convoys.
